FAQ's/Support
- CHART COVERAGE: The chart coverage we have ONLY covers USA territory. You can see all of our coverage here: Chart Coverage. See also: NOAA Chart Viewer
- CHART & DVD UPDATES: As of now we have no way of updating the DVD/charts online. If you have an 8gb flash drive or larger feel free to mail this in for FREE customer updates. Send us an email asking for mailing address. Just pay for return shipping only which is less than $2.00.
How often are the charts and publications updated on the DVD and Thumb Drive? We update the charts and publications once a month or as necessary.
- COMPATIBILITY: Our system will work on these operating systems; Win 10, Win 8 & 8.1, Win 7, Vista, XP, Win 2000, NT, ME, Win 98 and Win 95. 32 & 64 bit Operating Systems are covered. Macintosh is not supported.
Is the software compatible with Win CE? Unfortunately, no...
What about linux? We have had customers report back that they were able to get our system working on linux using WineHQ
- ERROR MESSAGE! Do you receive an error message when playing the video tutorials on the DVD? This problem is caused when you do not have the latest version of Windows Media Player. Update your Windows 7 Media Player here: WMP Update
- NO CD/DVD DRIVE: If you have no CD or DVD drive this is no longer an issue. We now sell the system on an 8gb Sandisk portable flash/thumb drive. Purchasing the system on our flash drive means you can receive FREE updates.
- PRINTING CHARTS: Charts can be printed out from inside the chart plotting software. Routes and waypoints can be included in the print options.
